How to Place an Order
1.To access Shed Testing, simply find it in the left navigation menu.
2. Once you are on the page, press the New Order button (located at the top of your screen).
3. Search through your reptiles on the left and begin dragging them into the order section to get started. Mobile users will search for their reptile ID and hit enter.
4. Click on Select your tests to choose which tests you’d like to order.
You can choose as many tests as you’d like.
5. When you’re satisfied with your order, hit the Checkout button.
6. Review your order total. If everything looks correct, hit the Checkout buttonto confirm.
7. Fill out your payment info and click the Pay button to complete your order.
8. Great! Your order has been placed. Print your receipt and follow the instructions to mail your shed to RGI. Close this window and return to the Shed Testing page.
9. Here, you can track your new order, see your results, and download your receipt again. Once RGI receives your shipment, we will notify you via email and update your order.

Make sure to print your order receipt from Cltch and include it with your shed shipment.
Prepare your Shed
The biggest enemy to DNA in shed skin is moisture. In order to retain the highest quality DNA and ensure your shed is readable:
Watch closely for the next shed and remove it from the enclosure as soon as possible.
Flatten and tear off any dirty or degraded pieces. Shed that has been in contact with water or urates should be discarded.
Place the shed in a secure location and allow it to dry for 1-2 days.
Send in Your Shed
Once your shed has been prepared, send it in for testing by completing the following steps:
Tear off a quarter-sized piece of shed. Please do not include the entire shed.
Seal each shed inside a separate ziplock bag.
Label the zip lock bag with your: • Receipt # • Reptile ID #
Place your receipt and ziplock bag(s) inside an envelope.
Label the envelope with your Receipt #
