Connect your RGI or Phenome account to Cltch, and your collection comes with you. When you order a shed test on the lab’s site, you pick your animals straight from your Cltch inventory, and the results land on each animal’s record automatically. No retyping IDs, and no copying results over by hand.
You connect your RGI or Phenome account to Cltch. When you order a test on the lab’s site, it pulls in your Cltch collection, so you select animals from your inventory instead of typing them in. Test status updates and results sync back to that animal’s record in Cltch automatically.

1. Go to Account Settings and open the Connections tab.
2. Find RGI or Phenome and click Connect.
3. Sign in to your lab account when prompted, and approve the connection.
4. You’re returned to Cltch, and the lab shows as Connected.
You can connect both labs. Each one is set up separately.
1. Go to RGI’s or Phenome’s website and start a new order.
2. When you add animals to the order, choose them from your Cltch collection. Each animal shows its Reptile ID along with other details from its Cltch record, so it’s easy to pick the right one.
3. Choose your tests and complete the order on the lab’s site as usual.
4. Prepare and send your shed following the lab’s instructions.
Tip: Always pick animals from your Cltch collection rather than typing them in by hand. That’s what lets the results find their way back to the right record.
Open the reptile’s record in Cltch and go to its Genetic Tests section. There you can see all tests ordered for that animal from synced labs.
You can also add a Shed Testing Card to the Dashboard to see a list of your most recent test updates.
1. Go to Account Settings → Connections.
2. Click Manage Connection next to the lab.
3. Confirm that you want to disconnect.
Results that already synced stay on your reptiles’ records. You won’t see your Cltch collection when ordering on that lab’s site, and new results stop syncing, until you connect again.
